Today we needed a fun pick-me-up recipe, so I pulled a loaf of brioche bread from the freezer that I had been saving for times like these and got to work.
The awesome thing about French toast is that it's super easy and quick to make, tastes like a little slice of heaven, and can be upgrades in two seconds by adding fruit, chocolate chips, powdered sugar, or anything else your heart desires!
My Brioche French Toast Recipe:
Ingredients -
3 eggs
1/4 cup whole milk
1/2 tbsp granulated sugar (or sugar substitute)
1/2 tsp vanilla
Directions -
Whisk the eggs in a shallow bowl
Add in the milk, sugar, and vanilla and whisk again
Dip each slice of brioche on both sides. Do not let the bread soak, just dip it and remove it.
Place the coated slice on a pan and sear until golden brown
Flip it and repeat with each slice until all the slices are cooked thoroughly
Top with your favorites and ENJOY.
This isn't necessarily a "healthy" recipe and it isn't something I make every day but it is delicious and an amazing treat for the whole family (or just you, I don't judge).
